Bust out your Ugly Sweaters people and meet us at Shakespeares South!! CMC is providing pizza and drinks for our December meeting (note- this is on a WEDNESDAY evening rather than the usual Thursday) where we will enjoy a social hour as well as announce our 2022 CMC Board! We will also be collecting goods for Rainbow House (list and info below) so please consider bringing an item for us to donate as a group to this amazing organization. This December, CMC would like to give back to our community. The Board decided to collect items for the Rainbow House, an organization in Columbia that serves children from the age of newborn to 18 years of age and their Shelter houses kids 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The Rainbow House Children’s Emergency Shelter temporarily houses children who are in foster care or homeless; and assists parents who request placement for their children during a family crisis. The Rainbow House Regional Child Advocacy Center provides forensic interviewing, advocacy, and therapy for children who have been sexually and/or severely physically abused. The majority of the Rainbow House funding comes from community donations.
