CMC had a BLAST at the Retro Roller Rink September Meeting last night… we had close to 50 members in attendance! I don’t know about you but I am a bit sore. It was so nice to see so many new faces… for those who don’t know CMC is growing by leaps and bounds… we have LOTS of new members… Welcome new members!

I want to give you some monthly highlights since we did not have an official meeting.

Branson: Just over 40 CMC members will be attending the Branson REV 3 next weekend. Last night Karen Rouse sent out the details of the weekend, if you did not receive the information send Karen an email kjrouse@me.com. Some of you have indicated that you would like to carpool. If so I encourage you to put out to the listserv if you have room in your car or if you are needing a ride. On Saturday at 3:00 CMC will paying for appetizers at Cattleman’s on the landing (next to the fountain), if you are able to attend send me an email so I can make sure we have enough seating chrissiebishop@aol.com. The hotel that CMC will be staying at is the Best Western on the Landing… 403 W Main Street.
Elections: At the October CMC Meeting the election committee will be collecting nominations for the 5 board member positions (each 1 year term), and the 4 officers positions, President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer (each 2 year term). To be eligible for one of the officer position you must have severed on the board for 1 year. So start thinking of who you would like to see as part of your 2014 CMC Executive Board.
CMC Annual Banquet: SAVE THE DATE the Annual Banquet will be held at Peach Tree Banquet Center on Saturday January 25th. More details to come.
Cyclocross: CMC is a sponsor of the 2013 CoMo Cyclocross Race that takes place on Tuesday nights from Socket. 5:30p a clinic will be held every Tuesday night and the races start at 6:00p. The cost is just $5 per rider for 2 races. Prizes, giveaways and occasionally BBQ and Beer will be provided. I encourage all of CMC to go and participate or spectate. CMC Donation: CMC members donated and CMC matched giving $1100 to OKC TRI for their disaster relief fund. Thanks to all CMC who donated!
