CMC kidZ
CMC kidZ (designed for ages 6-12, but open to ages 3-16) is the junior division of Columbia Multisport Club, designed to promote swimming, biking, and running and to encourage goal-oriented exercise among the youth of our community. Through the experience and support of Columbia Multisport Club members, we will improve the knowledge and desire of the “next generation” of recreational and elite multisport athletes. Swimming, biking, and running are fun, healthy forms of exercise.
Columbia Multisport Club (CMC) will offer structured training and educational sessions for its junior members. There will also be the support of a 600+ member National Champion team to cheer you on. We want you to be fit and, if you’re planning on it, ready for your first race.
Our first meeting will be 6-7:30pm, Wednesday, May 28th, at the Twin Lakes shelter house. We’ll have food and fun and FREE CMC kidZ t-shirts for all the kidZ. There is no fee and no membership required. We only ask that you RSVP by Friday, May 23, 2008, by contacting Brad Miller (BradMiller@ColumbiaMultisport.com or 573-424-5797) or if you have any questions. Meeting topics include: What is multisport? How do I get started? What do I need? We will have more information about our summer training sessions and activities, upcoming race information, and Columbia Multisport Club. You won’t want to miss this chance to be a part of CMC. We look forward to seeing you there.

Most of the sessions will require specific gear (swimsuit, goggles, running shoes, bike, helmet, etc.) Always bring some water and don’t forget the sunscreen!
